Swedish Veteran Foundation
The Veteran is a timepiece developed in collaboration with the Swedish Veterans Federation (Sveriges Veteranförbund) to honor and raise awareness of Swedish veterans who have served abroad. For every watch sold, a sum is donated to the Yellow Ribbon (Gula Bandet) that provides financial aid and essential resources to veterans and their families—supporting those who have dedicated themselves to serving others.
Embodying this tribute, the caseback proudly features the Yellow Ribbon alongside the Swedish slogan: “Alla gav något, några gav allt,” which translates to “Everybody gave something, some gave everything.”

About the watch
True to its name, The Veteran blends vintage-inspired aesthetics with modern functionality. It draws its design from the highly sought-after MALM ACE Chronograph 44, a long-sold-out model in our lineup. Just as “veteran” signifies experience and legacy beyond military service, this watch represents a timeless classic within the MALM collection.
Several new design elements and features set The Veteran apart. In line with our 2025 models, the Swedish flag is prominently displayed on the dial, subtly embedded as a silhouette on the crown, and the new second hand is adorned with the Swedish coat of arms—reinforcing its deep connection to Swedish heritage.

When using your MALM watch, the watch will be exposed to different types of stresses and strains. Like many other advanced watches and gauges, a very large number of components share a very limited amount of space and like other valuable items you should treat your MALM watch with great care. It is important that you do not expose the watch to unnecessary impacts, chemicals, solvents, hazardous gases, magnetic fields or very cold or hot environments.
The timepiece should be serviced and maintained regularly to work properly. Such services should be performed by MALM or a professional watchmaker for warranty terms to apply. We offer many service options for your watch, from repairing and replacing worn components, pressure testing, resealing, cleaning to polishing, engraving and change dials and more.
